1941-2008
In 2002, Henry Lee Bell began United Concerned Citizens with the dream of ensuring that everyone has a meal on Thanksgiving Day. With this dream, family, and volunteers UCCO has been able to provide Thanksgiving meals in Marion County for over 18 years.

The mission of United Concerned Citizens Organization Inc. (UCCO Inc.) is to assess the needs of our community, to establish community partnerships, and to provide programming and resources that empower adults and youth to lead happy and healthy lives.

Our vision is to unite with our community partners to provide resources that improve the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, financial, educational, and social wellbeing of individuals in our communities.
