Join Our Annual Thanksgiving Outreach to Share Meals and Fellowship with the Community

Thanksgiving is a time when many gather around tables filled with food and laughter. Yet, for some in our community, the holiday can feel lonely or uncertain. The United Concerned Citizens Organization invites everyone to our annual Thanksgiving Outreach, a welcoming event where no one is left out. Come for a warm meal, stay for the fellowship, and help us build a stronger, kinder community this holiday season.

What to Expect at the Thanksgiving Outreach

Our Thanksgiving Outreach is designed to be more than just a meal. It is a chance to connect, share stories, and create new friendships. The event welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you come alone or with family, you will find a place at our table.

  • Warm, nutritious meals prepared with care by local volunteers

  • A friendly atmosphere where everyone is treated with respect and kindness

  • Opportunities to meet neighbors and community members who share your values

  • Activities for children to enjoy while adults socialize

  • Information about local resources for those who may need extra support

This event is open to everyone. You do not need to register in advance to dine-in—just come as you are.

How You Can Help Make a Difference

The success of the Thanksgiving Outreach depends on community support. There are many ways to get involved:

  • Volunteer your time by helping set up, serve food, or clean up afterward

  • Donate food items such as canned goods, fresh produce, or baked treats

  • Provide financial support to help cover the cost of ingredients and supplies

  • Spread the word by telling friends, family, and neighbors about the event

Every contribution, big or small, helps ensure that no one in our community goes hungry or feels isolated during the holidays.
